Anne agrees with these comments! 31/08/2010
Before she came, Anne researched her options for a retreat on line. She found this website and through these links, discovered where to stay. Then she booked her treatments.... Anne told me that she already knew she'd have a great experience - because she had read the client feedback written below! So I said, "OK, let's add your comments to it". Here is what Anne wrote: "When I arrived it was a cold winters day outside but it was warm and cosy inside and I felt welcomed. The treatments were just what I needed....and more. I arrived feeling stressed and exhausted. And I left feeling calm and renewed. What I liked the most was: "Carol, her warmth, knowledge and care; the incredible surroundings and that she uses native NZ ingredients. If you are looking for an oasis of peace and calm to escape to, and need some TLC - well, here it is!" Anne Bradley, mother & business lecturer, Tauranga Do men come to Careem Wellness Spa? 21/07/2010
Yes, men do come, but in fewer numbers than women. Often couples come together - sometimes because one of them is too shy to come alone. Others because they are on holiday together and both need to relax and unwind. The dual spa suite at Careem Wellness Spa is ideal for couples because they can still talk to each other, yet have their separate space to chill out. Local guys also come regularly because they know that controlling stress is key to doing well in their profession or business. Here's Chris to tell you why he comes... HI, I'm Chris Smith, glazier by trade, and owner of Chris Smith Glass. As a business owner I need to be on top of my game and provide strong leadership to my team. " I've been coming to Careem each month for more than 2 years for massage and spa treatments such as my favourite -Hot Stones. I find there are three main benefits:
A note to other men: you may think its something that men don't do. But once I realised the benefits to my health and productivity, I just wanted more. One massage it not enough. Its the same as maintaining your vehicle for optimim performance. You have to give your self some attention and maintenance too.If you are stressed or tired but need to keep in control of your work, I strongly recommend that you see Carol at Careem Wellness Spa. Just do it! Chris Smith Enthusiastic client comments! 20/07/2010
This is just a small sampling of the feedback that Carol receives every month. “My initial thought was that Lake Okareka was a long way from down town Rotorua. But it only took me about 10 minutes to get here. Even the drive out was enough to relax me. The journey itself is part of the process of relaxing – leaving everything behind, then driving through native bush and finally having glimpses of the beautiful lakes. And then the treatment began…” Kylie Brackfield, Rotorua “I normally have a massage just to relieve aches and pains. Now I know its more about the whole of me (body and mind) and letting it all go. All the knots in my back were dealt with and now I wish I didn’t live so far away. But its so good that I don’t want to spread the word – I want to keep this secret place all to myself.” Lynne Gillbanks, Auckland “A wonderful experience in an idyllic setting. I will recommend you everywhere I go. Thank you so much, it was a pleasure to meet you.” Jean Christie, Scotland “I had a spa bath and Indian Head Massage. I arrived feeling anxious. Now I feel wonderfully relaxed and pampered. Hope to be back soon. Carol’s a magician!” Lois, Hamilton Lovely sessions - lovely feedback! 13/04/2010
Here at Careem, I've had a really busy time, helping people to restore calm and simply catch up with themselves. I've collected more feedback from these lovely people, who have agreed that I can use them here. Katrina needed her half day retreat (booked as a surprise for her by her wonderful husband) because she was stressed, in pain and feeling "dull". She says: I especially liked the "complete package"and that everything was explained to me. Now I feel "good", relaxed, recharged, peaceful. I recommend you come because Carol is well qualified and genuinely caring. The decor and atmosphere is lovely, the massage superb. Even little details have been thought of to make you feel welcome." Katrina Gibbs, mother, home school teacher, Auckland, NZ. Vicki really needed her treatment because she has recently had a stressful time with lots of pressure - organising her own wedding! She says: "now I feel unwound, relaxed and happy. What I liked most was the overall ambiance, the fantastic massage (didn't want it to end) and the delicious, healthy lunch!" Vicki, Food Service Manager, Hamilton. Enquire about bookings here I came to get help because the tree pollens are beginning to stir up my asthma this spring. The key to keeping on top of it...
