Its Carol here. Just to let you know that Lake Okareka is really, REALLY close to downtown Rotorua. Driving time is only 10 minutes. Sometimes locals arrive half an hour early because they totally over estimate the time it takes to get here. So if you have a car, it won't take you long at all. And the drive through bush and lake is calming and restorative just in itself. See you here soon!
